Upon Arrival to Ridgecrest:
1) Room Check-In & Meal Ticket pick-up When you arrive, you will pick up your room key and receive your meal ticket (if you purchased one) in the Pritchell building. Ridgecrest will handle all of your rooming and meal needs. Ridgecrest has staff on site until late in the evening. If you are going to arrive late, that is okay, just let Ridgecrest know.
2) Conference Registration You will pick up your conference registration packet and conference schedule in Lambdin. Registration Pick-up Times:
4) Conference Art Gallery A wonderful part of Gathering is our pop-up art gallery held during the conference. Participants are asked to bring 1 piece of their current artwork (ready to display/hang) to the conference. Make plans now to share one of your special pieces! This is optional. You will drop your piece of art off at Pritchell 1. Gallery hours will be shared upon arrival. Please do not bring your work to check in.

Can I change a workshop?Unfortunately, we are not able to change any workshop selections. Please do not ask, thank you for your understanding.
What airport should I fly into? We recommend Asheville (AVL), Charlotte (CLT) or Greenville, SC (GSP) as our closest airports.
How do I get from the airport to the conference center? Transportation to and from the airport is the responsibility of the participant and are not arranged by Gathering of Artisans. Many artists end up sharing a ride. Below are links to help you plan your travel.
How can I connect with other participants to carpool or rideshare? Check out our Gathering of Artisans 2020 Facebook Event Page. You are welcome to start a discussion there regarding carpooling or ride share. You need to be logged into FaceBook to access the page.
What meals are included in my meal ticket?Does Ridgecrest accommodate dietary request? Your meal ticket includes Thursday breakfast-Sunday breakfast. You will need to contact Ridgecrest to confirm purchase of a meal ticket. (828) 669-8022. Wednesday dinner is on your own. Many conference participants will meet up and go out to dinner together. Ridgecrest does accommodate special dietary request. Please contact Ridgecrest ahead of time to make meal accommodations known.
Is Ridgecrest handicap accessible? Yes, contact Rigdecrest for specific needs. A shuttle service is provided to all meals and will also be available for a limited time after the evening worship services.
Can I get a refund? Gathering of Artisans conference registrations are non-refundable. Conference registrations cannot be transferred to another event, however, they can be sold or transferred to another participant by July 15, 2020. All conference registrations sold or transferred to another person must be handled through our registration system. There will be a $25 fee to transfer a registration to another participant. Please note: If you purchase a conference registration from another participant, you will not be able to change the workshops selections. All conference registrations are sold AS IS. In the event we are forced to cancel Gathering of Artisans for any reason, your conference registration will be refunded via a check (this does not include any meals, lodging and/or travel arrangement that you made in order to attend the conference).
